A recognized Family Historian of forty-five years, Fowler worked as a computer programmer developing a family genealogy program at the birth of the computer age. Fowler is currently at work on several non-fiction books about genealogy. She can frequently be found hunched over her laptop, furiously typing away and muttering to herself. She is an author of more than 30 books including mystery/thriller suspense (pen name Susan Cady Allred), urban fantasy (Alli Riggs), sweet romances (Brynn Lee), clean reverse harem romances (Jana Mason), and disability-related nonfictions (Susan Cady). She lives in Washington state with her husband, children, and a cat she's dubbed Satan.
